Stanadyne/XDI Goliath High-Pressure Fuel Pump

The Goliath High-Pressure Fuel Pump, developed in collaboration with Stanadyne, represents a cutting-edge, modular solution engineered to address the fuel flow limitations of the stock Gen V LT mechanical fuel pump, enabling significantly higher power outputs.

Extensively tested on Katech’s in-house engine dynamometer, the Goliath Fuel Pump demonstrates exceptional performance, supporting over 1,500 horsepower on gasoline and 1,300 horsepower on E85 fuel. These results were achieved exclusively with direct injection (DI) on C16 fuel & turbos with additional testing yielding over 1,300 horsepower on full E85.

It is important to note that these figures reflect engine dyno results and are not directly representative of wheel horsepower (whp) due to drivetrain and supercharger losses. Turbocharged setups have achieved 1,100–1,150 whp, while supercharged configurations with a 2650 supercharger have reached up to 1,000 whp. These benchmarks serve as guidelines, with actual performance varying based on specific drivetrain and forced-induction setups.

Stanadyne warrants to Distributor that the Stanadyne Products sold hereunder will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of 12 months/12,000 miles from the date of delivery by Stanadyne. Notwithstanding the preceding, and based on the intention of usage of product, all product is sold and provided “as is” and “with all faults” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Stanadyne may provide information to Distributor relating to the Stanadyne Products, including information regarding performance, quality, physical properties, weights, etc. Such information is intended as providing general guidance only and does not constitute any part of the basis of any contract between the parties. Such information does not constitute a guarantee or warranty. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR CONFORMANCE TO DISTRIBUTOR’S SPECIFICATIONS. LPE HPFP Specifications
Lingenfelter Big Bore Direct Injection Fuel Pump for GM Gen V V8 Engines

The mechanical fuel pump flow has been a significant limitation in aftermarket power increases for GM direct injection V8 engines. The Lingenfelter Big Bore fuel pump addresses this by providing a substantial boost in fuel flow capacity over the stock LT1/L86 and LT4 pumps, expanding performance potential for these engines. With a 12.0 mm bore, the Big Bore pump offers over 30% more flow than the stock L86 & LT1 pumps and nearly 10% more than the LT4 pump. Paired with the LPE GT35 camshaft (7.85 mm fuel pump lobe), it delivers 40% more flow than a stock LT4 pump with a stock camshaft.

Injector Specifications
These high-flow injectors are designed for performance builds demanding increased fuel delivery. They offer significant flow improvements over production LT1/L86 and LT4 injectors and are E85 compatible.

    • 50% more flow than production LT4 injectors (17.7 g/sec)
  • Max Pressure: 221 bar / 3200 psi
  • Modifications: One extra spray hole on tip & internals modified.

LT4 +70% Injectors:

  • Static Flow Rate: 30.1 g/sec (2600 cc/min @ 100 bar)
    • 70% more flow than production LT4 injectors (17.7 g/sec)
  • Max Pressure: 193 bar / 2800 psi
  • Modifications: One extra spray hole on tip & internals further modified.

Note: Due to the LT4 +70% Injectors large size, these injectors may not deliver stock-like drivability, especially on pump gas. Manual transmission cars may experience pressure overshoots after shifting, potentially causing misfires. Reducing pressure may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Fuel System Upgrades: Requires upgraded low-pressure and high-pressure fuel pumps to reach full potential.

Power Potential and Recommended Combinations (LT4 +30%)

  • 750–850 WHP on Full E85: Use with minimum +32% cam lobe on LT4 OEM HPFP (up to 3200 psi) or Katech Goliah/LPE HPFP.
  • 1000 WHP on Blends or Race Gas (Turbo): Pair with minimum +32% cam lobe on LT4 OEM HPFP or Katech Goliah/LPE HPFP.
  • 1000 WHP on Full E85 (TVS2650, Whipple, F1A): Requires +32% cam lobe on LT4 OEM HPFP or Katech Goliah/LPE HPFP and methanol injection, or with our XFP3200 belt-driven fuel pump.
  • 1200 WHP on Race Gas (Turbo): Pair with our XFP3600 belt-driven fuel pump.

For Higher Output Applications

  • XDI LT4 +70% Injectors are recommended for naturally aspirated (e.g., Nitro-Methane), low-RPM turbo applications, or centrifugal superchargers when combined with the LPE Big Bore pump or Katech Goliath.

Important: The LPE Big Bore + LT4 +70% injectors will not meet fueling demands for setups with a 2650 TVS or Whipple blower on E85. In these cases, we recommend our XFP3200 + 70% injectors or supplemental fueling (methanol, PFI) around peak torque.
