This high-pressure fuel pump is the OE Bosch high-pressure fuel pump designed for the B58TU engine, offering a significant performance upgrade compared to the stock HDP-5-EVO pump:
- HDP-5-EVO: 0.954 cc/rev, up to 250 bar of pressure
- HDP-6: 1.178 cc/rev, up to 350 bar of pressure
Thanks to its enhanced capabilities, the HDP-6 is a popular and straightforward plug-and-play solution for tuned Gen 1 B48/B58 applications requiring additional fueling for optimized performance.
Installation Note:
For Gen 1 B58/B48 applications, the connector housing for the fuel quantity control valve will need to be rotated—a simple and straightforward adjustment. Alternatively, an extension harness can be used to address the clocked connector, although rotating the connector is generally sufficient.
